About Bison Ridge Retreat

A Place Built for Calm, Comfort, & Connection

At Bison Ridge Retreat, we believe the best moments are the quiet ones — the mornings that start slowly, the nights spent under a wide Montana sky, and the days shaped by whatever brings you peace. Our cabins were created to help you return to those moments, surrounded by nature and just minutes from downtown Whitefish.

Our Story

Bison Ridge Retreat began with a simple idea: create a place where people could feel more at home than they do at home. A place shaped by nature, thoughtful design, and the rhythm of Montana. What started as a love for this land grew into a collection of cabins designed to bring people closer to the outdoors, to each other, and to the moments that matter.

Nestled among the pines overlooking mountain ridges, each cabin reflects the spirit of Montana while offering the comfort and ease of a true retreat. Here, you’re invited to settle in, breathe deeper, and experience a stay that feels both grounding and unforgettable.

A note from the owners

Welcome to the Bison Ridge Family

When we found this ridge tucked between the trees, we felt something special — a calm that only Montana can give. Bison Ridge Retreat was built to share that feeling with others. Our cabins are simple, warm, and surrounded by the kind of beauty that invites you to slow down and be present. We hope you cherish your time here and look forward to hosting you again on your next Montana adventure.
